HEAD CHEF & OWNER
At the age of 15, Kenny entered a government culinary program in Canton, China, which taught students the foundation of Cantonese cooking. While learning classical cooking he was also an apprentice at Canton's most prominent tea house.
After graduating culinary school, he was hired to work at Canton's White Swan Hotel and Restaurant. There he worked with revolving guest chefs from other provinces which exposed him to new cuisine and its techniques, further honing his cooking and professional skills.
GENERAL MANAGER & OWNER
With a combination of business administration and food/beverage background, Thomas started August Gatherings with Kenny in 2015.
"Serve with my heart, and create a Michelin dining experience for every customer." This is Thomas' philosophy of managing his restaurant.
